Why this exists

Built the same way as the Singapore guide — researched remotely using public GPS data, race reports, and Wikipedia, not walked in person.

The Las Vegas Strip Circuit is brand new (first raced in 2023), runs down public Las Vegas Boulevard and Koval Lane, and is only closed to normal traffic race week — corner positions here are a first draft and still need a proper alignment pass against the real track.

Treat it as a work in progress rather than ground truth, and if you walk it yourself, corrections and reports are very welcome.

Fan-made walking guide — S/F line + all 17 corners of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit

Tap GPS to enable live tracking. The app measures your distance to the next corner every few seconds using your device's built-in location — nothing is sent externally.

When you're within 40 metres of a corner, its marker turns orange. When you're within 25 metres of the next corner, the panel auto-advances.

Use the Auto button to turn auto-advance on or off — useful if you want to explore freely without the panel switching.

The screen stays on automatically while GPS is active.

Battery/CPU impact is negligible — same as having Maps open.

After first load, the app and map tiles work fully offline. This makes it useful as a general Las Vegas Strip GPS map even when roaming doesn't work.

GPS itself doesn't require internet — your device's location hardware works independently of mobile data.

Unlike Monaco or Baku, the Las Vegas Strip Circuit runs down Las Vegas Boulevard and Koval Lane — public roads that stay open to normal traffic and pedestrians all year, closing only for a few days around the race. Corner positions in this app are a first draft based on public race reports — treat exact placements as provisional for now.

iOS: Open in Safari → Share → "Add to Home Screen". Opens as a standalone app with no browser chrome.

Android: Open in Chrome or Brave → install prompt or browser menu → Add to Home Screen.

Once installed, the app works fully offline and the screen stays on while GPS is active.

Walk all 17 corners of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, past the Sphere, Bellagio, and Caesars Palace.

Start at the S/F marker on Koval Lane — that's where the race starts and ends each lap.

Walking the Las Vegas Strip Circuit

The Las Vegas Strip Circuit is 6.201 km long with 17 turns — the second-longest circuit on the F1 calendar after Spa-Francorchamps. It opened in 2023, is raced counterclockwise, and runs down public roads — Koval Lane, Sands Avenue, and Las Vegas Boulevard itself — that stay open to normal traffic and pedestrians all year, closing only for a few days around the race. Unlike every other points-paying round, it's run on a Saturday night rather than a Sunday.

Start / Finish Line

On Koval Lane, in front of the pit building — a former parking lot turned paddock. On the inaugural 2023 race weekend, a loose drain cover wrecked Carlos Sainz's Ferrari floor and battery just 9 minutes into first practice, damaging Esteban Ocon's car too; the session was red-flagged and abandoned, delaying the next one by 2.5 hours and getting fans ejected at 1:30am.

Turn 1

A tight left-hander hairpin right after the short start/finish straight — the first braking test of the lap, with grandstands close on both sides.

Turn 2

A wider right-hander forming a double-apex combination with Turn 1.

Turn 3

The first of two right-handers sweeping the track onto Koval Lane.

Turn 4

The second right-hander of the pair, accelerating cars onto Koval Lane and one of the longer straights on the calendar.

Turn 5

A 90-degree right turn off Koval Lane, taking cars into the stadium-like complex built around the Sphere.

Turn 6

A flowing left that opens the chicane circumnavigating the Sphere — at 366ft tall and 516ft wide, the world's largest spherical building, wrapped in a world-record 580,000 sq ft of LED screen. It opened in September 2023, just weeks before the first Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Turn 7

A sharp left-right through the middle of the Sphere chicane.

Turn 8

A short straight continuing through the Sphere chicane.

Turn 9

A tight left-hander closing out the Sphere chicane, feeding onto Sands Avenue.

Turn 10

A sweeping right down Sands Avenue, past the Venetian resort and its monorail line.

Turn 11

A left-hander taken at roughly 304 km/h past Wynn Las Vegas, its curved gold facade forming the backdrop, before heavy braking for Turn 12.

Turn 12

A slow, relatively wide left-hander onto Las Vegas Boulevard, taken at around 96 km/h in second gear, right by the pirate ship outside Treasure Island.

Turn 13

A gentle curve taken flat out at around 342 km/h for almost 2 km down the Strip itself — the circuit's signature straight, run past the Fountains of Bellagio and the Mirage's volcano. In 2025, Yuki Tsunoda was clocked at 358.3 km/h at the end of this straight — the fastest speed ever officially recorded in a Formula 1 race.

Turn 14

Heavy braking into a tight chicane between Planet Hollywood and the Cosmopolitan.

Turn 15

The middle of the Planet Hollywood/Cosmopolitan chicane.

Turn 16

The exit of the chicane, accelerating onto East Harmon Avenue.

Turn 17

A gentle, flat-out left-hander similar in length to the Koval Lane straight, letting drivers rebuild top speed before the start/finish line. George Russell set the pole-lap record here in 2024 (150.3 mph average); Max Verstappen set the race-lap record in 2025 (148.6 mph average).

Practical Guide: Walking the Las Vegas Strip Circuit

Researched remotely rather than walked in person. Practical notes for anyone visiting:

The racing line is drawn from public GPS data; corner positions are a first-draft estimate anchored against two known landmarks (the Sphere and the Bellagio Fountains) and still need a proper alignment pass against the real track — treat exact placements as provisional.
Unlike Monaco, Baku, or Singapore, this circuit runs down public roads open to normal traffic and pedestrians almost all year — Koval Lane, Sands Avenue, and Las Vegas Boulevard are walkable any time outside the few days around race week.
Start at the S/F line on Koval Lane and walk in racing direction (counterclockwise) toward Turn 1 for the most logical route.
